The Wienermobile Rolls Into Queens
Partnering with The Dugout Sports Bar, SDI created a pop-up sampling activation at a beloved Mets fan hub. With six prime parking spots secured, the Wienermobile became the centerpiece of the pre-game excitement, drawing crowds for photos, hot dogs, and a taste of the Oscar Mayer brand.
Serving Fresh, Right to Fans
A team of local caterers prepared 1,500 Oscar Mayer hot dogs on-site, ensuring freshness and speed from the kitchen to the fans. Brand Ambassadors distributed the signature “wienie bowls” in branded helmets, engaging fans in key messaging while keeping the energy high and the hot dogs hot.
A Hit With Fans & The Community
The event brought an unexpected delight to the Queens neighbourhood, an area not often activated in this way. Families, Dugout regulars, and Mets fans alike were drawn in by the experience, with the bar’s owner already requesting more events in the future, from holiday games to post-season celebrations.
